Here for you

The following are a variety of resources that are available to anyone who is part of our community. We invite you to explore the wide variety of options

The initial application will be submitted to NBS. Certain conditions must be met for acceptance into the program:

  1. Affirmation of the candidate’s potential for ministry in a cross-cultural setting.
  2. The candidate is a participating member in good standing of a local church which will provide unreserved endorsement of the student for cross-cultural training. The local church will develop their candidate through the CLTP program in full partnership with NBS as a means of fulfilling their missional vision.
  3. Northwest Baptist Seminary will confirm the student’s general academic qualifications. The academic prerequisite for the program is 60 credits (2 years) of undergraduate work or its equivalent as evaluated by NBS. Applicants who are deficient in the required undergraduate credits normally will be required to complete these before being admitted to the program.

Financial Expectations

It is anticipated that the student will be a full-time intern for the duration of the three years.  The student will be responsible for one third of the cost of ACTS / NBS tuition, full Gateway fees (Gateway fees include room and board during the four month cohort experience) and the short term missions trip expenses. The other two thirds of the ACTS / NBS tuition would be shared equally between NBS (by way of scholarships) and the home church. Other arrangements for the living expenses for the intern are the responsibility of the intern and the home church. A more detailed financial breakdown is provided in the application package.
