FIRST STAGE: Diploma in Cross-Cultural Leadership – (30 credits)
Fall Semester (12 credits)
This Semester is completed in a Canadian intercultural ministry setting
- CCT 401 The People of God and the Practice of Ministry (4)
- CCT 402 A Biblical Theology of World Missions (4)
- CCT 403 World Religions (4)
Spring Semester (12 credits)
This Semester is completed with the Gateway Trax program
- CCT 301 Discipleship (3)
- CCT 302 Contemporary Issues in Missions (3)
- CCT 303 Worldview, Culture and Ethnography (3)
- CCT 304 Teamwork and Partnership in World Mission (3)
Summer Semester (7 credits)
This Semester is completed in an international missions setting
- CCT 305 Gateway Final Project (1)
- CCT 404 Developing a Person Missiology (4)
- LBR 500 Research Strategies (1) (this is an ACTS prerequisite – RES 500)
Please note that students are not obligated to continue on to the MACS program but could conclude their studies with the diploma program OR leave CLTP and apply for the MACCM program (see ACTS website for description of this program).
The Diploma in Cross Cultural Leadership is a pre-seminary program that is completed through Northwest Baptist Seminary with potential admission to the ACTS MACS program based on meeting ACTS admission requirements which includes a 3.0 GPA at the undergraduate level.
NOTE: Students with minimal undergraduate level Bible or Theology courses will also be required to successfully complete: BIE 500 Introduction to the Bible and THS 540 Introduction to Theology
SECOND STAGE: Master of Arts in Christian Studies (MACS 52 Credits)
