Greek For Breakfast gives you an opportunity to develop your competence in reading and understanding the Greek New Testament. Once a month we gather to read a portion of the New Testament and encourage each other to enhance our ability to interact with the Greek text. It is helpful to have a working knowledge of the basic grammar of Greek, but the sessions focus upon your own comprehension. The facilitator will provide guidance and some notes to assist with the more difficult contexts. We generally cover about 6 – 8 verses at each session. Your only commitment is to be reading through the passage before the session and being prepared to read and present your basic translation of the passage. You are welcome to bring whatever tools will help you.
Location: Fosmark 130/131
Passage of study: Colossians 2 – 3
Cost: $25 for four sessions (includes breakfast and handouts)
