Greek For Breakfast gives you an opportunity to develop your competence in reading and understanding the Greek New Testament. Join a group of people engaging with the Greek New Testament and in a non-credit context advance their understanding of New Testament Greek. We read about 5 – 7 verses per meeting and take our time to discuss the Greek structure, specific words, and the general meaning of the text in relation to the overall composition. This Spring we will continue our reading in 1 Timothy. I provide a commentary on the Greek text that you can use to prepare for the sessions. The degree of your interaction in the sessions is voluntary. I encourage you to come prepared to read some Greek and provide a rough translation of the text into English. Frequently we find ourselves spiritually challenged by our reflections together.
