Accountability is important at Northwest. We believe it is a vital component of the kind of godly, Christian leadership we are seeking to train here. We understand the sacrificial giving of God’s people and recognize that we are responsible to God for the judicious usage of the resources that have been entrusted to us. This is why Northwest is a member of the Canadian Council of Christian Charities. Northwest will make every effort to utilize the funds received for the purposes designated by the donor; however, where such needs have already been met or are no longer needed, we retain the right to redirect funds to programs other than the ones specifically designated by the donor.
Another means by which we assure our donors that we are operating responsibly is that each year we have a full, external audit completed, with reporting of the results at our annual convention of churches. A copy of that audited statement is available for interested donors upon request. We are thankful to God that balanced budgets have been achieved for each of the past four years.
Northwest receives its funding from several different sources. Some of our funding comes through the tuition that students pay. Some of our funding comes from our family of churches. However, a significant portion comes through the gracious gifts and donations of our friends, both churches and individuals. As well, our endowments generate a significant portion of our financial aid funding and operational funds.Healthy, effective ministry leaders are critical to church planting, church health and kingdom advancement in Canada and worldwide. Good stewardship encourages us to invest in those ministries that will make a difference and are fully accountable. We believe Northwest is one of those ministries. We would invite you to consider investing in the training of new and the nurture of current ministry leaders by supporting Northwest? As you support Northwest, you also assist the entire consortium of ACTS, the third largest seminary training agency in Canada, to fufill its critical mission. Tuition covers only a part of the actual costs. Many students require financial aid to enable them to take the time required to prepare for service. An investment in the students of Northwest Baptist Seminary is an investment in the future of Christ’s Kingdom.

Wills and Estate Planning
One of the ways that you could become involved in the Ministry here at Northwest is through your estate.
“Remember that when you leave this earth, you can take with you nothing that you have received – only what you have given: a full heart enriched by honest service, love, sacrifice and courage.” St. Francis of Assisi
